Happy new year people. I hope no one is still hung over.

A restful week. I took a week off because my company would have merely erased 40 hours of my paid time off if I didn’t. So I spent a week going through a collection of Modesty Blaise stories, eating, drinking vegging, and writing. So bright and squirrely, I began on this.

From Coruscant Entertainment Center we have JediMaster12 returning finally with Star Wars: Realms of Honor and High On Pie 14’s first time for this honor with The Ebon Hawk Hijinks Came close to the Best of the best, kid. I was in the mood for comedy

From kotorfanmedia we have Axiawest with From the Journal of M.V.
PrincessJaden for both A Loose End and For Luck

But the Winners this week were Freyalise with
One Breath and Tatooine92‘s Sacrifice

Discuss

Independent developer, font of opinion, and veritable Samuel Johnson of the internet, Vince D. Weller, has posted an interesting article on the Iron Tower Studio forums, "The magic of... magic?", which discusses ways of making magic something more than "a meta-gaming feature with the single purpose of providing the player with a different, more colorful way to kill things".

My company has this habit of ‘removing’ additional hours of vacation time if you have too many. They intended to make 40 hours of my vacation time disappear on the 1st of Dec, so to avoid losing that five days, I’m taking a week off from work.

So I will be spending the next 9 days doing what I like to do… eat, drink, write…
And on four of those days, reviewing your work.

From Coruscant Entertainment Center we have The Doctor who received a belated pick of the week for Diaries of a Jedi , Mr. BFA Keep You Away and Chevron 7 Locke with both Savior and
Christmas on the Ebon Hawk

From kotorfanmedia we have Moonmythology with Beast Taming: A Note to the Next Ruler of Onderon and Truth A-Karkheena
With The Norm for a Scoundrel Kneph’s Vigilance

And the honors this week are split by Crystal001 for A Captain, A Cathar, and a
Former Sith Lord Revisited
and Amber Penglass’s return with
We've Met Before

Well what shall I do first? How about a nap…

What is this nonsense? SWK being updated?!

Gamespot has run an interview with Dan Tudge, the executive producer for BioWare's new fantasy RPG, Dragon Age. The article details the personalities, motives, and characters that lie behind the pixels we've seen thus far and, as such, may contain spoilers.

Posted By Char Ell - 12/11/08
At long last BioWare and LucasArts are going to give anxious Star Wars: The Old Republic devotees a first glimpse at some in-game footage in the form of a video documentary. The video will be posted on the official TOR website and covered by sister site starwarsmmo.net. Time to see if those lightsaber hilts really look that large in full motion video!

A bad week because of a problem at work, but nothing major. I am taking next week off primarily because a friend I haven’t seen in 26 years is coming into town. But I was rewarded in a way because there was so much good stuff this week.

From Coruscant Entertainment Center we have Chevron Locke’s Now and Again Mr. BFA’s The Devil Within and Kado Sunrider Exodus

From kotorfanmedia we have Crystal001 with Love Bmjewell with Right Here With Me Lord Zeuss with The General Dove-Feathered Raven with Sun and Moon, Chapter 1: Another Kind of Trouble and Muhnemma’s Hidden Chapter One

But best of the best was split this week between Shinee’s Honour and A-Tarkheena with What I Can't Tell You

Well see you all right after Christmas. Signing off…

Over at Lucasforums I’ve been having trouble keeping track of what I’ve been doing, so for the last two months I have been going back to the beginning as it were and tagging everything as having been read. So here I am three pages from the start and find our first offerinq, which meant I had to give the author a resprise Pick, because if I had seen it before, I would have picked it.

So without further ado;

From Coruscant Entertainment Center we begin with JediKnight707’s The Destruction of the Sith . Tysyacha returns with her Play/Screenplay: Bond 23 (Scene 1) and Astor Kaine earns a nod with the western
McLaine, Town Marshal

Over at kotorfanmedia we have Tatooine92‘s Slow Dancing MaryJivinJane with Pursuit: Chapter 1 Darth Ruination with Wounded Jedi, Chapter 1

But this week our winners are Firedancer’s Rain and Lord Zeuss with Triptych Chapter 1, Out Of Nothing

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Mine was spent with Turkey Pot Pies and the local cat who comes to visit only for me to feed him.

Well I’ve got some good stuff this week so without further ado…

From Coruscant Entertainment Center we have Tysyacha with the next chapter
Umbral Tide: Chapter VI: A Plan Regarding Poison

Then from kotorfanmedia we have Adylin who showed us Grrrr . . . Atton!
Mshcherbatskaya who delivered the amusing Dance Dance Revelation
Qt314159 with Escaping the Past - Chapter 1 Dyrradegan who gave us Ten, Chapter One
And Lord Zeuss who graced us twice with Relentless Intolerance and The Will To Continue but only for this first story is tagged as best of the best this week.

Right now I’m working on a Mandalorian based story over in LF, so if anyone wants to look, come on by.
